Ultralight camping chairs for trekking, bikepacking, and vanlife – from just 1,060 g, foldable and with a small pack size. Perfect for anyone counting every gram on the move.
Ultralight Camping Chairs – from 1,060 g, Foldable & Compact Pack Size
An ultralight camping chair should do one thing well: stay out of the way until you need it. The uquip Infinity weighs 1,060 g net (1,200 g with carry bag), folds down to 46 × 15 × 15 cm, and still supports up to 120 kg. That's thanks to a frame made from aluminium 7075 – the alloy used in aerospace for its strength-to-weight ratio.
This category covers two product groups: ultralight camping chairs with backrest (Infinity, Infinity Lounger) and ultralight tripod stools without backrest (Trinity M, Trinity L, ThreeSixty Mini). Both share the same idea – minimal weight without sacrificing everyday usability.

Compact pack size thanks to the shock-cord system
The Infinity folds down to 46 × 15 × 15 cm – smaller than a 1.5 L water bottle. The intuitive shock-cord system connects the segments under tension: pull apart, slot together, done. Setup takes about 30 seconds.
Combine the Infinity with an ultralight Liberty camping table for a compact travel setup – or explore our beach chairs for your next trip to the coast.
Vanlife, trekking, and bikepacking
Whether in your camper van, hiking backpack, or on your bike – the Infinity range is designed for situations where space and weight are tight. Inside a van, it slots under any seat; on a trekking pack, it lashes to the outside; on a bike tour, it fits into most panniers.
- ✓ Van & camper: fits under a seat or in the rear drawer
- ✓ Trekking: lashable to the outside of a backpack
- ✓ Bikepacking: Infinity and Trinity M/L for small pack size
- ✓ Setup: around 30 seconds thanks to the shock-cord system
Built sturdy – for regular use
Ultralight doesn't mean fragile at uquip. The aluminium 7075 frame holds loads up to 120 kg, and the tear-resistant polyester fabric stays dimensionally stable under regular use. If something does wear, replacement feet and covers are available separately – extending usable life and reducing the need for a new purchase.
Aluminium 7075 – why the alloy matters
For Infinity, Infinity Lounger, and the Trinity range, we use aluminium 7075 – a zinc-alloyed grade valued in aerospace for its strength-to-weight ratio. In practice: thinner tube walls at the same load rating. That's how we reach 120 kg capacity at 1,060 g chair weight.
