Bad Bramstedt, 2015: a question that changed everything
In the rugged north of Germany, somewhere between steady wind and endless open space, a frustration takes shape that many outdoor fans will know: the camping chair is fine, but nothing special. The picnic blanket does its job, but no more. And the beach wagon? It sinks deep into the sand at the very first step.
Out of exactly this dissatisfaction, a brand with a very simple philosophy is founded in Bad Bramstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, in 2015: Unique Equipment for Unique People. For uquip, "unique" doesn't just mean looking different – it means being more thoughtfully designed. Offering one clever feature more. Having exactly the detail that makes the real difference in the end.
"Plenty of people can make ordinary camping furniture. We build companions with a design as lively as summer itself – always with that little extra."
— uquip, founding philosophy
The extra that explains it all
Take the Liberty camping table: a light folding table – that alone would be standard. But a complete board game is printed on the back. Or the Sandy beach chair: every beach chair has legs – the Sandy also has wide sand feet that sink less into soft sand.

From the north to the world
What began in 2015 as a small, bold idea in Bad Bramstedt is today a brand headquartered in Itzehoe. uquip products are stocked by numerous specialist retailers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland – used by people who fully share the philosophy: don't just follow the crowd, choose your own way of living.
The range keeps growing. Every new product goes through the same filter: What extra does it bring?
Spare parts for your uquip product

Depending on the model, you can reorder seat covers, carry bags and frame parts and replace them yourself – without having to buy a whole new product.
