The FLEXY 100 is the perfect product when a seat pad is too small and a full sleeping mat is too bulky. At 100 cm long, it fully protects your back and thighs when sitting on the ground – ideal as a seat mat for camping, a knee pad in the tent or as a base when cooking, packing or doing repairs outdoors. The aluminium coating reliably keeps cold and moisture out even during prolonged use.

What is the difference between the FLEXY 100 and FLEXY 44?

The FLEXY 44 (34 × 44 cm, 25 g) is the ultralight seat pad for hiking and trekking. The FLEXY 100 (55 × 100 cm, 90 g) offers significantly more surface area – ideal as a knee pad, seat mat for camping or short rest surface.

Can I use the FLEXY 100 as a sleeping mat?

At 100 cm, the FLEXY 100 is too short as a full sleeping mat for adults. It works brilliantly as a knee pad, seat mat and for short breaks. For overnight use, we recommend the FLEXY 190, which protects the whole body.

Is the FLEXY 100 suitable as a knee pad?

Yes – this is one of the best uses for this product. The 55 cm width and 100 cm length provide plenty of surface for comfortable kneeling when camping, cooking, packing tent poles or doing repairs outdoors.

Does the FLEXY 100 protect against ground cold?

Yes. The aluminium coating reflects body heat and insulates against cold ground. It's not as thick as a classic camping mat, but provides very good protection against cold and moisture for sitting, kneeling and short breaks.

How big is the FLEXY 100 when packed?

Rolled up, the FLEXY 100 measures just Ø 8 cm at 55 cm long and weighs 90 g. It can be attached to the outside of a backpack or packed away compactly in your luggage.
